Based on the current situation, Saga University will lower the level of activity restriction index to level 1 and operate as follows. We will inform you of the details of each activity on Saga University HP or by email. Please check and confirm them.Regarding Each Activity [Research Activity] You can conduct research activities with measure to avoid “3Cs (closed space, crowded place, and close contact)”. [Classes] Classes will be conducted not only online style but also face to face style and hybrid style which is combined with online and face to face style. A class that is permitted to be conducted face to face style will be carried out with thoroughgoing measure for preventing the spread of COVID-19. However, if planned online classes are changed to face to face style, we will take students’ place of residence into consideration and we will offer substitutional option if they cannot attend classes because of a distance. [Extracurricular Activity] On conditions that you will avoid “3Cs” and take serious measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, you may conduct extracurricular activities. [Procedure for Saga University Students to Enter the Campus] You may enter the campus to attend classes that are permitted to be conducted face to face or extracurricular activities, use facilities on the campus and go through all kinds of procedures. However, the length of your stay should be as short as possible. Students who have those following ①~④ conditions cannot enter the campus. In that case, attendance will be suspended though, consideration is paid not to cause disadvantage to those students. ① People who are not feeling well / in poor health. A case you have a symptom of a cold, a fever, a taste disorder, a smell disorder. ② People “who had symptoms mentioned in ① for the past 8 days and currently do not have symptoms,” also do not fit any of those below conditions as well. 1) At least 8 days passed after appearance of symptoms and 2) in a condition that you are not on any medication, at least 3 days passed after alleviation of fever as well as disappearance of symptoms. ③ People who infected with COVID-19 and people who are considered as a close contact with people infected and in self-quarantine. *If people who fit in those ①~③ desire to be absent from classes, examinations and practical training because of poor health, please make sure to contact the office of your faculty and Health Care center. ④ People who entered Japan from foreign countries within 2 weeks.Other ・When you do activities mentioned above, please take serious measure to prevent from the spread of COVID-19 such as avoiding “3Cs”, washing hands and coughing manners. ・Please make your commute as short as possible. ・This index will be changed depending on the COVID-19 situation. ・Please confirm those following points and prevent from any risk of infection. ①Please refrain from traveling to a metropolitan area unless you have urgent reasons. Please restrain from going to a place where has high possibility of infection such as an entertainment district and a party. ②You should stop going out when you have any symptoms of a fever, a cold and fatigue. And if those symptoms stays for a while, please contact Guidance of returnee, contact consultation center. ④ Take radical measures against COVID-19 such as wearing masks, washing hands, avoiding “3Cs”.
